Burger King
Forge Retail Park, 1 Biggar St, Glasgow G31 4BH
Dickie & Moore Construction were employed by Burger King to construct a Burger King new build shell at Forge Retail Park in Glasgow.
This project was awarded under a Design & Build contract and works were carried out within the existing car park. The existing ground required numerous works such as grouting of redundant mine shafts and piled foundations.
The superstructure was constructed in a steel frame with a mix of masonry and insulated cladding.
As the retail park was still fully functioning, a significant level of traffic management was required to ensure the retail park continued to run smoothly!
D&M handed over the building to Burger King in November 2020.
