Lidl Lanark

Dickie & Moore Construction have recently completed the fit out of a vacant retail unit in Lanark, Unit 1-2 Braidfute Retail Park, Lanark, ML11 9AU on behalf of Lidl GB. All works were completed in line with the requirements of the 2020.2 rev B specification. Works commenced on 26^th April 2021 with PC achieved 29^th July 2021 in line with the agreed programme.

The works involved the installation of new internal underground drainage, mezzanine floor, partitioning works forming fire rated partition walls, up to 7.5m in height to separate the sales floor and warehouse. Existing walls within the sales floor were lined up to 4.2m and new partitions formed the back of house rooms.

A full new M&E installation followed in line with the specification, including new refrigeration, cold rooms, fire, intruder and CCTV. A new adhesive tiled floor was installed throughout using the specification floor tiles. OWA suspended ceilings were installed to the sales floor at 4m and back of house rooms at specification heights. Specification door sets were installed throughout with new auto doors installed at the new main entrance / exit.

Dickie & Moore worked closely with Lidl directs throughout the construction and shop fitting stages to complete the new bakery, checkouts, racking and merchandising, with the store launching on 26^th August 2021.

The store is now open and trading successfully with positive feedback from the Lidl construction and sales teams.
