Dickie & Moore have successfully completed a full Theatre upgrade at Hairmyres Hospital, East Kilbride.
The project was completed on time and within budget for the NHSL. The works involved taking the existing Theatre back to a shell and installation of new M&E, medical gases, medical pendants and an Ultra Clean Canopy and upgrading of Air Handling units and associated BMS all to meet current SHTM standards.
Well done to the full project and design team for completing this complex project under trying conditions around Covid 19 and delivered a world class Theatre for NHSL to use. The addition of a lay up prep room will enable the client to operate on more patients to help reduce the waiting lists.
The addition of “Leo” a Davinci surgery robot makes this one of the most hi-tech Theatres in Lanarkshire.
