100th Co-op, Aberfoyle
Dickie and Moore are delighted to have delivered our 100th store for Co-op.
Dickie and Moore are thrilled to have reached this fantastic milestone of delivering our 100th store to the Co-op group.
Co-op is the leader in food convenience retailing in the UK, and they set the standard as a progressive and evolving company and we are delighted to be part of their expansion journey.
Each store has taken us far and wide across the UK from as far up as Shetland and down to Liverpool. The stores we have delivered have varied in size, location and requirements but each one delivered has proved to be essential and important to their respective local communities.
This was highlighted by the fact that these projects took us out to some of the remotest communities in the UK in the Hebrides, Benbecula and Barra where the Co-ops we delivered were essential to the normal functioning of the communities that lived there.
The 100th landmark Coop was delivered by Dickie and Moore Construction to the local community in the area of Aberfoyle. The fit-out followed the same pattern as many of the other Co-ops we deliver with the inclusion of a newly redeveloped unit, including a full M&E fit-out and a new plant located to the rear. This was combined with the addition of new fridges, chillers, fixtures and fittings all in line with Co-op specification were fitted along with new window graphics and internal signage.
A new warehouse was fitted out to create a super facility for the retail staff with a new office, canteen and bakery.
The 100th store was successfully launched on Friday 9th April 2021.
