About the role:
We are seeking a passionate and driven Project Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. This role will report directly to the Commercial Manager and will be integral in the cost management of projects to maximize value and minimize future liabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in fast track fit-outs, particularly in the retail sector, and will be committed to professional development within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project costs to optimize value and minimize liabilities.
- Oversee the placement of subcontractors and ensure compliance with contracts and agreements.
- Prepare final accounts, cash flow forecasts, and compile financial data for reporting.
- Attend progress meetings and collaborate effectively with project stakeholders.
- Undertake monthly cost reporting to track project financial performance.
- Contribute to project delivery and support continuous improvement initiatives within the company.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- A strong passion for professional development and training in a dynamic company.
- Proven experience working for a main contractor in a similar role.
- Experience in fast track fit-outs, preferably within the retail sector.
- Excellent IT and communication skills.
- A professional attitude with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Ability to analyse financial information and produce accurate reports.
